Raining in the connections

One of the advantages of living in Las Vegas is that quite a few people all over the US, Canada and the rest of the world want to visit here. Vegas truly is the entertainment capital of the world and the figures released shows that entertainment has surpassed gaming for high revenue generators for the Las Vegas strip properties. A few weeks ago I got an email from Eric Badgley asking for the best things to do over the fourth of July holiday.

I sent my personal picks and warned him about the heat!  We hit 120 on the fourth, but that didn't stop anyone from going out and celebrating independence day. I think we tend to forget that Active Rain is a social networking site. I've met several great people through Active Rain, and look forward to meeting more. I just got another email from Eric, he survived the Vegas heat and made it back to Bellingham.  If anyone out there is looking for a Bellingham home or wants to search the Bellingham mls, give Eric a call. He'll take great care of you.

Remember, if you never risk anything, you'll never gain anything of worth either. The next time you are traveling and need recommendations of where to stay or what to do, contact one of your fellow rainers. Who knows, you may just gain a friend in the process. -Charles
