Animal Foundation Dog Show

The fifth annual Best in Show dog show will be held June 2, at the Orleans Arena. All proceeds will go to benefit the Lied Animal shelter in Las Vegas. This year the show will be hosted by Frank Scinta (of The Scintas show) and will also feature entertainment by illusionist Steve Wyrick.  Approximately 60 shelter dogs will compete in front of nationally recognized American Kennel Club judges to be named best in show.  All of the dogs competing in the show will be available for adoption.

Doors open at noon and tickets are $12.50 for adults. Seniors and children are $5.00. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by calling the Orleans ticketing at either 284-7777 or 888-234-2334.  100% of the funds generated will go to the Lied foundation to take care of the animals in the shelter.

Good luck -- I home all goes well.  I will be participating in the New England Pet Partners team evaluations this weekend.  I am looking forward to working with the dogs and getting them ready to be great therapy dogs!

I wish I had known about it earlier in the week so I could have made plans to attend.  I wish you the best of luck in raising the much needed funds for these animals.
