17th and Vine is no more

17th and Vine, a mid rise condominium project in Henderson is no more.  The project has been dragging its feet for the last year, claiming it was going forward despite very little construction activity.   The project was adjacent to RJ Wiley on Stephanie.

Originally the project was advertised all over the valley and was not cooperating with local realtors. As the condo market started to cool, the project owners decided to re-think their marketing strategy and solicited the Las Vegas realtor community to help with the project. Sales picked up and some construction was done. The site was cleared and prepped for a foundation....then nothing.

Now, the project has been re-named Stephanie Village. There is no word from the new project as to design or options, although from the render on their site it seems that the project will be changing very little. Time will tell. -Charles

I have been in escrow with this project since Sept. 2005. They have now called and said they are doing the 6 retail buildings first and if I didn't want a unit above the retail that my escrow would have to be cancelled. I looked forward to this developement but, they keep on changing their plans.
